Bradley Cox Benefit

Tonight was a benefit for Bradley. It was really fun! Megan Slankard played and also there were the Na Ohana ‘O Ke Awawa Troupe dancers. It was a very nice evening with the proceeds going to the Bradley Cox memorial fund. Guess what? There were door prizes and I won a pair of moto racing gloves, cool!

Damn Dog

So just an hour or so before leaving for the Bradley Benefit, the damn dog up and disappears. I rode all over the neighborhood on my bike while Lisa drove the ‘burby round the periphery calling for the dog: “A-L-A-N-I-S”

At least I got some exercise, Oh and I met some neighbors!

The dog was found by Pat (Keara’s dad) who walked her home via his car, a kind of modern suburban rodeo. Good.

Tonight we saw Megan Slankard play in a Park here in Tracy as part of the City Of Tracy Performances In The Park series. She is from Tracy and is really good. She has a wonderful voice and great songs. It was a nice summer evening.

As I type this, April is boarding a bus in Stockton that will take her to her first overnight Girl Scout camping trip. She will be at Camp Menzies near Arnold, way up in the Sierra Mountains. Good luck April, see you soon! Here she is boarding the Suburban for the trip to Stockton. Sniff, sniff…..

Fox News is reporting that Weezie from The Jeffersons has died, bummer.

This morning April and I were up at 5:00am for the Annual Lions Pancake Breakfast and Hot-Air Balloon launch at Lincoln Park here in Tracy. It was really nice this morning, cool but calm -no wind this year! Four balloons got off the ground and we had some really tasty pancakes, sausage and some OJ. Time with my little friend April, priceless. ;-)
