Way to go April! I was off today and got to go see April receive an award for Student Of The Month! She has really been working hard to stay on top of her work. Today she was honored by her teachers and her classmates for her efforts. I am very proud of her, Good job April!!

Garrett dropped by today for a visit! We hung out, ate Mexican food and talked. It was really cool to see him. Here he is on his way to the Great Pacific Northwest to be a lumberjack I think. Come back soon my friend, have a safe journey.

Happy TV-Turnoff Week!

Tax Day, yea!

Today is tax day, April 15th. Instead of enjoying this day, my day off, a warm spring day, a day expected to be in the mid-seventies, a day ripe with to-do’s like washing the car and napping, a day perfect for walking the dog or pulling weeds, I am working on my taxes….just as soon as I am done looking at blogs that is…

Hope you had a happy day!

I did, much better than yesterday thank you.

Sometimes there’s nothing to feel
Sometimes there’s nothing to hold
Sometimes there’s no time to run away
Sometimes you just feel so old
The times it hurts when you cry
The times it hurts just to breathe
And then it all seems like there’s no-one left
And all you want is to sleep

Park the rig, roll to Wesly…

Lisa and I took the trailer to Wesly, about 10 miles south to a truck stop for some tank-dumping fun! The ‘Burb goes in for body work Monday, so we had to secure the big thing for a while and you can’t just leave that stuff in there, so we rolled down the highway. It was cool cause it was just us for a little while. :-) BTW, it ran good on 580, smooth 65, which was still 10-15 mph slower than everyone else.

Bradley’s Corner

Here is a pic of Bradley’s Corner which is a reading area that was set aside to remember Bradley Cox. Some fine people made some time to build a really nice place to sit and read or just kick back. It looks great guys, nice work!

Fly On Little Wing…

Heard this Monday stuck in my mind since…

Well she’s walking through the clouds
With a circus mind that’s running round
Butterflies and zebras
And moonbeams and fairy tales
That’s all she ever thinks about
Riding with the wind.
When I’m sad, she comes to me
With a thousand smiles, she gives to me free
It’s alright she says it’s alright Take anything you want from me, anything.
Fly on little wing, Yeah yeah, yeah, little wing…

Campers!

We packed up the trailer and spent the weekend at Lake Del Valle in Livermore. It was our first voyage for the year and it went pretty well. The area was really pretty, and very green. Here we are after finding our campsite in the Family campground. It was a tent site really with no hookups, we went “self-contained” for the first time.
Happy Campers!
