Veronica had a piano recital on Saturday afternoon. She just started with her new teacher, Debra Colliver in Tracy recently, and the recital was optional for her. She has been practicing this piece for only a few weeks and she got up there and played so well! She did just great, I posted the video on YouTube, take a quick listen! Way to go Veronica, great job!

Katie Knudson, 24, killed on Feb. 23 in a shooting in Fort Myers, Fla., is memorialized on her Web page at MySpace.com. Her step-father, Bob Shorkey, monitors postings from friends and acquaintances.So only hours after she died in an automobile accident near Valdosta, Ga., early on the morning of Feb. 27, her father, John Walker, logged onto her MySpace page with the intention of alerting her many friends to the news. I just read The “Five People You Meet In Heaven” by Mitch Albom. What a cool book. I wonder who Jim met, I’ll bet Jeff Otto was one, his father Robert for sure, I wonder who the other three might be, only Jim will know. I hope he is waiting for me, that would be cool to see Jim again and talk with him one more time…
