We had an awesome time at the beach this weekend, we even managed to find this beach on a Saturday with hardly anybody around, it was really nice except I got sunburned (duh!)

Tracy native Rod Lauren died this week after a fall from the Tracy Inn. I have a Rod Lauren 45 (pictured here on daveparker.com). I had always hoped to meet Rod and get an autograph. My late friend Jim gave me all his Rod in honour of my living in Tracy, seemed to make sense at the time. Hey Jim…. Rod Lauren died, thanks for the 45 buddy…RIP Rod.

Here I am in 1970 working a Fourth Of July picnic in the park. Hot Dogs and sodas only a quarter each, I powered down a fair share that day!
