A few pics of our Thanksgiving Day to share. We spent the day in Pleasanton at my parents house and had a really nice time. The food was fantastic, and so was the wine! It’s good to get together with the family, I guess that’s the basic idea of the day. Thanksgiving -check. On to the next holiday, yup my birthday! (oh yea and that other one, Christmas! hehe) Hope everyone had a nice weekend, I am bumming a little that it’s Sunday night and I have to go back to work tomorrow, but other than that it was a sucess!

Well, it’s that time of year again! Time to crush cranberries in the meat grinder! Yea! This is, as I have mentioned before in pervious blog postings, is a family tradition. We break out the meat grinder, circa 1920 ish, and grind fresh cranberries for the cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving Day. This year was a banner year as we all ham it up for the camera. Happy pre-Thanksgiving Day my friends!

The sky at dusk. I think this the last of this nice weather we have been having, red sky at night, sailors delight. Next week the rains come along with the beginings of the holiday season. Just a couple more days of work and it’s the big Thanksgiving Day feast and good times with my family. Be safe on the roads my friends, it looks like the worst of the weather will be leading up to the big day. -dp

Marina digs into a bagel at the Downtown Tracy, Farmers Market this morning. It was just her and I on an amazingly warm morning, sunny in the 70s, it was great fun!

Happy Birthday Veronica! You are an amazing girl and you are growing up so fast, we are so very proud of you, I hope you have a great birthday!
