Today April formally completed middle school in a promotion ceremony at Williams Middle School in Tracy, my little girl now moves on to High School! It’s really hard to believe sometimes. I am so proud of her, she has worked so hard this year trying to keep up with all the stuff she has going on: dance, choir(x2), band, girl scouts, drama club and 2-3 hours a night of homework. Great job April, you did it! Enjoy the summer, High School is coming fast!
She was wearing Dave (the boyfriend’s) hat when she pulled up today in the truck, she is such a country girl, I love it! Says she borrowed the hat for LAC in a couple weeks. Meanwhile Dave had to get back to Fort Lewis, his weekend leave over. I know she is much more relaxed knowing that he is at least stateside, but I am sure she will miss him.

This week was spirit week at Marina’s school, Monday was crazy hair day!
Marina caught this little guy today in the yard while bug hunting and let her crawl up her arm for a photo!
Last weekend was a photo shoot for an upcoming show that April is performing in. She has been taking a Ballet class here in town and doing really well, that girl loves to dance!
They call me Doctor Love!

A few pics of the concert that we were in last Saturday night. It was a total blast and it went really well. Lisa and I both had solos (good job Lisa!). Veronica and Marina were in the front row, thanks guys for the support and the great pics! April is also in the choir however she had to miss this show because her middle school band was in a band compitition in Santa Clara the same day, she was bummed but hey they won second place!

This is from the stage at the Grand Theatre in Tracy, our final rehearsal for the Tracy Community Choir Spring Concert tonight in Tracy. I am really excited and looking forward to this show. I’ll be singing with the Adult Choir and also for the first time the Twelve Tones. If you are around drop on by and check out the choirs, it’s at 5:00pm in the Grand Theatre, downtown Tracy. There are lots of great seats available and tickets can be purchased at the door for seven bucks! There will be performances from the childrens choir, youth choir, the newly formed Nine Notes (youth advanced ensemble) adult choir, and Twelve Tones (adult acapella).
If you have be thinking about joining (or re-joining) the choir come on down and check it out. Also, if you are currently a party of another local choir our next session starts in August and will are putting together a choral fest and are looking for other choirs to join us, watch for details, or better yet come on down tonight, announcements will be made for more details!
