Tonight April danced in her first show with Tiffany’s Dance Academy. She was great, such a beautiful and graceful girl, I am so very proud of her, great job sweetie! I was also impressed with Tiffany’s Dance Academy, they did a fantastic job with the day-long show and the dancers were really supurb. The father daughter dance was really touching, my eyes got all wet, must be the heat!

Listened to this guy, Henri Allen, perform today at the Tracy Farmers Market. It takes a lot of guts to play original music, from the heart, just a man and his guitar. I have great respect and enjoy very much those who can pull it off. I really enjoyed Henri, his songs hit home, guitar was mellow and he was comfortable with his his voice which I also enjoyed. Nice stuff man, good luck and thanks for the CD!

Trying a different lens on my Nikon D50. This is a Nikkor 50mm 1:14 (not the D lens). It’s a nice AF lens and a fun change from the kit lens that came with the camera.

There were some cool Lowriders last weekend at the Sandra Cantu Memorial Car Show. I really liked the lowrider bicycles, I think I am going to build one for myself, a lowrider stretch beach cruiser!
Here I am out on the course in Tracy, Old River Golf Course. It was warm, but also windy. Had a great day working on my game!

Today Marina turns seven years old, happy birthday sweetheart, we are all so proud of you! Marina is really growing fast, she is a super kid, such a fun girl. always happy and ready to go. This year she has really picked up speed on her reading and will sit down and read book after book. She read sixteen books that Mrs.Mullen sent home with her to read over the summer in the first couple weeks. She also rides a bike like a pro, and totally digs her scooter. Today her mother and her sisters are taking her to the movies to see Up and Away (I thinks that’s what it’s called) in 3D and next weekend she is having a sleepover party with a few friends

Here we are at the Kat Country LAC in Turlock. It was a long, hot fun day. Lots of great bands and cold beer and giant corn dogs. April and Veronica braved the crowds and hung by the stage most of the show while Lisa, Marina and I laid back on the grass and enjoyed the music. It was a really fun day and a memorable family event.
Marina was at a bday party last weekend and got this really cool face painting thing done. Had to get a pic because it was all over the pillow by the next day! She wore it to family days and got lots of comments by the way, people wanted to know where at the lab this was being done!
