My friend Lee Sanders created this and I really liked it, thanks for sharing Lee!

I like this since my Lumix DMC-LZ7 was stolen Friday night. Many of the pics on this blog were taken with that camera.

Sometimes my kids really amaze me and I see them in a different light, or from a different angle and I get this incredible feeling that they are awesome people and will do well in this life. Last night was one of those times with April. I love you kiddo, you are super cool and I am very proud of you. Keep up the great things that you do, I will always be here for you. Love always, your dad.
Today was a day off for me and I was determined to get out in the boat and do some fishing. As it turned out a friend if mine was unable to join me and Lisa was not feeling well so I decided that I was going solo. I got some bait and a sandwich and a beer, hooked up the boat and was ready to launch it myself when at the last minute Lisa joined me. I really glad too because not only did I enjoy her company on the cool quiet morning of the delta, I needed her help loading/unloading the boat from the trailer. It was cool too because we we had a really smooth launch and a recovery and a really relaxing time out on the water. Didn’t get much fishing in, we had too much fun cruising around and exploring a new part of the river that we had yet to try out. We launched at Rivers End Marina near Discovery Bay (sorta of) off Byron Highway, west of Tracy. Nice place! I have been going there recently and talking with the owners about the area and covertly watching people launch their boats looking for tips! The lady who works in the office is really nice and it was fun to talk with her and hang out. Now we finally got our boat off from there, pretty cool place. Next time I hope to get out much earlier in the morning and do some fishing, today I spied some good spots to hunt down some bass, gotta get back soon!
Moo. To think that this little cutie was almost snake food. She was snake food really but when we got her home no one had the heart to feed her to the python, now she is our pal. We even forgive her chewing of so many cables that were connected to April’s computer that used to be located next to her cage. She munched through every cable including an AC line cord which might have shocked her, maybe it did and she survived twice! Lately Marina has been feeding her and taking her out of her cage for attention. Here’s to you Moo, ya rat!
