Sad night with Lisa in the hospital, the girls managed to get themselves out for some trick or treat fun, don’t they look wacky? Marina is so cute as little red!

280zx Model

I tracked down this model kit soon after I bought the big Z and it has been sitting around ever since having never finding the time to get it started. So the rains came and I had the urge to build a model and I got going on this kit. I have always loved building models, ever since I was a little kid. I have fond memories of my dad helping me getting a kit together and teaching me about taking my time on a project, doing neat work, not rushing, following the instructions, and being patient. Many things that work in real life also! Thanks dad! So, whenever it starts raining and the weather gets cooler I have this urge to build a cool model and I got started on this Nissan 280zx. BTW, I found it on Ebay, not too many of these around, this was made in the 80’s I think and I got it from a dealer in Ohio, gotta love the ebay! (there was a bidding rush at the end and I won, none of this “Buy Now” on this baby!) These pics are after most of the paint was finished and final assembly was started. I have since added the wheels and engine, looks pretty good. I tried to match the colors of the big 280zx that I own. Note the red and white seats!
