‘69 Chevelle

No comments

My current project, a 1969 Chevelle. I have a lot of hours into this already, been working on it on and off for many weeks now with a long break when Lisa was sick. I work little bits at a time as I have very little free time for these kinds of things but it’s starting to come together. This weekend I had fun working up mods to lower it a bit and I finished the engine. Next up a Ferrari 612!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a really nice time in Pleasanton at my mom and dads house for Thanksgiving this year. It was great to see everyone and have lots of laughs. I am thankful for my family and appreciated this day. Good food, great company and fine wine too! (thanks mom!) I think the cousins had fun hanging out too, they are all growing up so fast, it’s crazy. Here is a pic taken by Scott that he sent me, thanks for sending it our way! (I had to post it, hope you don’t mind!)

The Cranberry Thing (traditional)

1 comment

Every year Lisa and the girls grind fresh cranberries into some really delicious cranberry sauce/relish that has become a Thanksgiving Day tradition for us. So as in years past, here are the girls grinding the little berries into yummy relish that I can’t wait to spread onto some roasted bird. Have a great Thanksgiving Day everyone. Go Raiders!

My November Guest

My Sorrow, when she’s here with me,
Thinks these dark days of autumn rain
Are beautiful as days can be;
She loves the bare, the withered tree;
She walks the sodden pasture lane.

Her pleasure will not let me stay.
She talks and I am fain to list:
She’s glad the birds are gone away,
She’s glad her simple worsted grey
Is silver now with clinging mist.

The desolate, deserted trees,
The faded earth, the heavy sky,
The beauties she so truly sees,
She thinks I have no eye for these,
And vexes me for reason why.

Not yesterday I learned to know
The love of bare November days
Before the coming of the snow,
But it were vain to tell her so,
And they are better for her praise

Shopping friday with my baby... on Twitpic

Had a nice Friday with Lisa, went to the store, had some Peets, and then enjoyed a movie. It was simple and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Veronica and April

I love this picture of Veronica and April. It was a hot summer day camping out on the delta somewhere. They found a bunch of clams and shells and stuff, they made me bring them home too! hehe
