Had a great Christmas with my family and was especially thankful to be with Lisa this year. Just last month she was in the hospital fighting for her life with H1N1 and double pneumonia. Thank you God for bringing her back home to me and our children, I really don’t know what I would do without her.
Here it is, Christmas Eve 2009! Marina is in rare form, she woke up early, “just couldn’t sleep anymore!” I hope that everybody has a nice Christmas!
Just getting around to posting my snow pics from last week. It was my birthday the day it snowed BTW, pretty cool I thought! The snow stuck around for several days up on Patterson Pass Road. I like the black cows in the white snow, they were looking sorta confused that day.

Tonight was the Winter Concert for Tracy High Schools’ Choirs and Orchestra. April sings as a freshman in the concert choir. They were great! All the choirs really sounded so good as did the strings section. Here are April and I after the show in the lobby of The Grand Theatre. I have some HD video from my new camera that I need to extract and post, stay tuned!
Lisa and the girls bought me a new camera for my birthday yesterday. This replaces the P&S that was stolen over the summer (friggin bastards!!). I had a Lumix DMC-LZ7 which I just loved and shot thousands of pictures with. It’s still a fine camera and I would like to pick another one up sometime because it was such a fine camera. (I see them on Ebay a lot) The girls got me the much updated version of that camera (I love Lumix/Panasonic cameras) the DMC-ZS3 which is a 12mp P&S. This has a 12x zoom with Optical Image Stabilization and shoots 720p HD video in stereo! I already love this camera it’s really nice. Here is my first shot that I took in downtown Livermore today.
